According to the ultrasound tech, it's either too early to see Littlebit or it was a blighted ovum.
A blighted ovum: Basically when the egg fertilizes, implants and starts to form all of the parts, but then the baby just doesn't happen.
Aka: The womb with a view has a vacancy.
The nurse practitioner is holding out hope. I'm not. Ultrasound is scheduled in a week to follow up. Basically at that point, I'm going to prove that I'm right and that optimism loses out to womens intuition.

oh yikes! i'm so sorry to hear things aren't going well
did they say anything about tilting? looks like on the web there do seem to be quite a few stories of misdiagnosed cases due to tilting.... which then weeks and weeks later the baby got big enough to suddenly appear.
I am sorry to hear this. I hope you get some better news at the follow up appointment.
I now that there wasn't shiz to see when we had an u/s this early with this pregnancy.
